What is WPC decking?
WPC (wood–plastic composite) decking blends wood fibre or flour with polymer resins such as HDPE or PP, plus additives for UV stability, colour and mould resistance. The result is a board that looks like timber but does not need annual oiling the way outdoor hardwoods often do in Singapore’s heat and humidity.
Modern outdoor grades are often capped or co-extruded: a polymer skin wraps the composite core so stains, moisture and fade are harder to mark the surface.
